03-12-12' Dysfunctional Couple

Someone once influenced me to look at couples who are constantly using their phones to play games or watch movies independently as a dysfunctional pair because couples are supposedly to be there for companionship.

It's a mockery. Literally, when the attention is not on the partner, isn't it considered a date with the phone, while the person is merely fulfilling the 'role' of being physically there. Where is the respect, may I ask?

My tolerance has extended through Maple Story, Legends of Cryptics, and now Giants of blah blah. You have proven that the virtual world is more exciting than me.
