My first birkenstock spree from footshopping. I am finally able to have additions to my madrid family since 2009!

I am keeping my fingers crossed that they will entertain such complaint, as birkenstock afterall, is a prestiguous german product known for quality and rare for manufacturer defect. I suggested exchanging with another pair of other leather to prevent any chance of recurrence. Within a day, they conceded to my request with no further questions asked. I mean, which other company will compliantly say yes to your request to replace your item worth SGD87 straight? I wouldn't have mind to send back the defective birkenstock for SGD10 shipment charge. I sent another email to them asking if I should send the existing pair back and they said no. Seriously, I wouldn't mind the mark on the birkenstock.

I have a pair of birkens free by sheer chance. Oops!
