09-06-09 - 16-06-09` 8 days in TW!

Pictures galore!

Yes, McD, Fab's fav! Being 24 hours makes gluttons go wild. We had this for supper every night!

My favorite this time. Standing next to his- Mister donut! The macots are simplyyy too cute! It kicks up a storm there with their collectables. People stuffed themselves with donuts just to lay their hands on their mechandise. I've blended into their culture of stuffing myself with donuts.

We calculated that you'd need to spend SGD30 to get one of these. Aww.. :(

Of cause, a place not to be missed by ladies (And men are forced to step in), the Hello Kitty Cafe!

Taipei 101. Its dampening to have a rainy day, the open rooftop is out of bound.

Through our stay, there were 2 live outdoor sessions by local artists! We didn't hang around till their appearance but I think we're lucky enough!

On Saturday - Ah Mei!

On Sunday - Tank!

No wonder Hello Kitty is Jolin's favorite, you can see a kitty almost everywhere. This was taken in a metro station.

Theme Restaraunts
Sky kitchen!

Beach swing style.

Off to Kaoshiung!

Kaoshiung 85 tower. Don't be deceived by its appearance. There's nothing fascinating in there.
The decorations of one of the MRT station, mei li dao. HKY, LPQ and TWW should have recollection- the station was closed for this renovation works and we have to walked a distance to liu he night market.

He's all smiles with his favorite PRAWNS!
Its big, fat and expensive.

It was raining on the second day when we wanted to go to the shopping district. The heavy rain made us changed our plans last minute. BOOS.
Back in Taipei

The place where they filmed huan huan ai, starring Rainie Yang. You'll get to watch the episodes on the local tv screen soon.

The Ferris Wheel!

Scene from the Ferris Wheel!

We went for Xin Beitou Hotspring of cause.

See, so much difference from the one we went to the last time! HAHA!

HAPPY :)

We travelled to Wulai, at Xindian, the far end of Taipei.

Its well-known for its hotsprings.

The mini-train station.
The mini-train. See, its shorter than an average men's height.

Compare this hotspring with Beitou! Though not as grand but it has the hot and cold spring. Left pool is hot with jacuzzi (the killer- its pressure causes red marks on your skin cos it pumps water like a broken dam!

An iconic shopping mall, shaped in a sphere!

Fab cracks up whenever I do this!
My backpack for travelling in TW! Somehow you'll be influenced by their culture and dress more trendy. Hopefully I'm basked with inspirations besides my usual tee-shorts.
Will update if I've the time to go through with editing. This should satisfy you all for the time being.
