just the tot of going hpb makes me :( ; the tot of going hpb mon to fri, 8 to 5 makes me even more :( ; the tot of cutting cavities everyday makes me really :(
so imgaine how i feel towards going for the briefing? yar - :( practically dragging my feet there, using the mac to lure me back.

partnered with yb last sat. she's a better clinical than i am for sure! haas. have to say we had fun working tgt. went to suntec with weiwei n joyce after that. there's a new mini display aquarium n we went wild 'catching nemo', on our phone cameras. the arcade had a face lift.

24-11-05` lunching at nyp . yishun

went lunching with ying in sch today. promised to have an eatery tour in nyp someday and yupps, this is it. hees. we had spaghetti at gecko, hers black pepper and mine mushroom sauce. glad that she enjoyed it or me, as a tour guide would failed terribly!
then we went yishun. the last time we went there was.. when we were dining in delifrance with *kemmm..*. so round and round we go. the ddr machine there is OBVIOUSLY down looking at screen thats only in red. no other colours at all. being a maniac fan, i tried and i died on the 1st stage. wahaha! looking for trouble for myself. but the kiddies, i repeat, the kiddies there r experts in percussion. they played CHALLEGE mode. (oh joyce, look at that, CHALLEGE mode; compared to our hard or special thats peanuts to them!) the way they swing the sticks were awesome. i wonder how they manage to process, interprete the notes and hit on the right tempo, right time. its serious business, they play like pro)
having all the cramps, feeling lethargic. oh man...

i would be appreciative if some privacy is maintained. pls dont intrude my friends privacy too for them being prior to my own welfare.

today was ying's first offical day off frm o's! has, to start the head of it, we went pp (parkway parade). aww.. it'd been ages since we've been there! there's sth awfully bad i must mention here. to co-memoriate and remember this incident - nv laugh ur head off when u're standing near the bell. i was standing close to the side bell on the bus when i accidently hit the button with my head from a jerk when i'm laughing too badly. phews, heng heng that stop was near an ITE and there happen to be students who wanna alight. i was soaked by embarrassment! and i thank god for once that there arent any cameras in the bus to capture that moment for which may send me right to the police station for 'public harrassment' by playing with the bell. -___-"
went ard the complex with ying, looking for shops with job vacanies. we started off with kalms, lifebook (a christian shop), then a puzzle shop and finally ended our search with a toy shop that has a post on the display panal that says 'urgently need full timers'. these were the successful ones who said they'll call once they got the confirmation.

frm pp we went to ps. well.. to walk ard. but after visiting e arcade, we left for tm. coz being so antsy, eager to see that photo of me n ying (record of highscore) in percussion master in century sq.

we gotta a long wait for percussion and ddr. whats wrong with the ppl today? everyone seems to be immersely into percussion that there's a queue practically everywhere. they were giving the bu shuang faces to those who hog the machine and continue to play till their hearts content. for an instant i tot a browl will be inevitable but it turns out to be alright.. seeing 2-3 security guards loitering along the corridor outside the arcade.
only when we reached there and WAITED that we realised that it was my mistake. i was in the photo with.. someone else. GOSH! (to ying: i'm terribly sorry for that lu-long and the wasted trip. sincere apologies here)
eyeing on a top frm gionado. hui min (ying's friend) is working there so shud be able to get a staff discount. the price is rather steep so i'll need some advices.
a call frm TOY'R'US certainly brightens up ying's day. instantly. haas. after all that miss call and 'gan tock li' incident.. lols. ying shud know.

19-11-05` NDC . marina mandarin

paired up with ruth last sat for clinics and both of us PFA! was assisting mas in the first session then chit-chatting with yus, yuan qi. it feel great to be able to share common prob, hees, yuan qi shud know.

went to my i supposed 'rather close relative' wedding at marina mandarin. its next to suntec city convention and marina square and u bet its really grand! one of the entrance was blocked due to the construction work so we had a tough time figuring out how to go in though we travel by taxi. boos. what makes this banquet special is that the servers actually danced infront, on the stage before serving the appetitzers! haas. surprise. then the bridegroom were asked to give a speech in which he revealed that when he booked the banquet there was this lucky draw and he got the prize that includes the free banquet, free holidays and a pair of wedding band. as he's a christian he believes that winning the prize is actually a form of marriage blessing frm the god. later on the newly wed was being sabo to kiss on the stage for 10 secs which in the end turned out to be a minute or so, by the prank of his best man - 'brother'. its such a coincidence that 5566 was retiring in the very same hotel during their concert promoting period. so the kiddies and teens flocked down to the lobby when they got hold of the news of their idols arrival. being a die hard foodie, i laid my butt firm on the chair and continue eating. haas.

as usual my not-so-close-relatives began to bombard me with all the 'whao, so big liao ah~', 'more 'bah-bah' (meaty) le hor' so awkward. i presume it was becoz i was an ugly freak or ugly duckling if it sound nicer, though i'm still ugly now, and a skinnnnnny walking stick when i was a child. look at my childhood pictures and u'll laugh your head off. i assure u.

17-11-05` ikea

went ikea with ying today! haas, missed the hotdog there lotss! its yummy to the MAX! its mastard tomato chilli sauce are 'help yourself' kind so in another words, free flow. umms, nothing much to be happy abt though for this point, its nt as if u're a real big eater of sauces for a living thats enough to make them bankrupt.

planned my shopping list ages ago, just sort of a companion. luckily ying just finish / tempo free of o's (until next wk). hees, so i drag her along. poor lady, the first shopping trip after o's had to be with me walking ard in ikea, instead of town looking at her fav stuff. yar, elephants and yeiio3y clothes bags blah blahs. psst! the trolley there is free, that means no need to insert $1 coin. dumbo us were looking for the coin slot and gazing ard for any security that came marching to us as we pulled out the trolley. no alarms, no guards. along our exploration inside, we wonder why ppl perfer to use the yellow bags provided and not the trolley. finally we came to a conclusion - u cant push the trolley upstairs. the only way up is to use the lift. instantly we felt so 'dumbo' again (eyes become raisin-size). so again, the poor lady had to transfer everything frm the trolley to the yellow bags. she had been helping me to carry all the BAGS (mine, hers and.. the YELLOW bag). free labour huhs. the lightnings there were real cool. that inspire us to swore to have a turn over of our rooms.. someday. (well, when we have enough capital to) i got myself some storage boxes - 2 mega big ones, 4 fine cardboard ones, 3 small plastic ones, a 3-pack metal cylindrical containers, a pouch that u often seen in magic shows, 2 plastic dustbins (fancy buying bins all the way frm queenstown when i live in sgoon), a roll of ribbon.. and guess how much it toll up? $74! our eyes grew big in astonishment as the numbers appeared on the screen. we expected to be slightly above 50 but nt exactly mentally prepared to have it above 70.
due to all the bulky stuff, we were only left with an option for transport. thats cab. bus driver will definately reject us boarding for the fact that we'll act as hinderance or rather, obstruction to his business becoz we'll occupy a larger space with our 'victory goods'. its real lucky that we manage to take the citycab thats right after silvercab! if we'll a step eariler.. for all knows which meter goes faster. hehs
after that we went kovan to meet up with maine for job interview. its a pity to know that there's only one vacancy. well, that means they're fated for better jobbies. better luck for them next time! GO GO GO!

borrowed 4 good books frm the library on tues. that shud keep me busy for sometime.

the ddr machine at PS is gone. gone before i start training.

saw an 'emily the strange' card holder at far east. sth like a mini flat cigarette box, very cools! intended to use it as my wallet but its really too small. max capacity is only about 5 cards. hmms.. looks like the coins can only be shoved into my pockets, bags, blahs. its a tough decision but i settle in for the pouchy version which can store lotsa stuff. its a 'L' size compared to my 'M' size gloomy bear pouchy.

i'm 1/2 deaf i guess. didnt realise ppl was calling me frm afar. well, its a guy who has strong resemblance to clarence. i think its more of the built, ermms.. yan xing shu? nono. its weird to have ppl coming up to u, offer to company u shopping. =/ walked round and round aimlessly. AWKWARD siahz. he left his email and went back to meet his friends while i continue my journey to tampines for the puzzle shop. i shud had said earlier that i got a 'close guy friend' opps!

do i have the look that i SERIOUSLY need help in saving? 2 guys stopped me to talk abt saving plans respectively at 2 different places- at tampines and taka. perhaps i shud put on my nerdy specs when i go out to convince ppl that 'hey, i'm a nerd! i'm independent! i save money every month!'

finished ruffles in less than 2 days. had been eating alot these days. eat then slp immediately. gosh, what am i doing!?

so bored. tot of getting a job but who wants to hire one who can only work on weekdays for less than a month? cant go much places w/o concession too. tough life

watching tv since i got up. the intervals when i get my eyes off the screen are during the commercials to EAT or go TOILET or now, though still on COMPUTER screen. its becoz i'm waiting for spongebob at 6. zZz

thinking of getting a jigsaw but those are really ex! the ones i like cost ard 40-50 bucks EACH. haiyo, maybe i shud start cutting up papers and play with my own DIY puzzle. but once i started on it, i can be quite a 'workalcholic' and finish it into midnights to make sure i get it done within a few days. anyway shall be going down to the puzzle shop as well as the library to get myself hook on some addictions. yar, the main thing is to keep myself occupied.

another batch of dental students frm the faulty of dentistry graduated. it'd been a yr, unknowingly, they GRADUATED yet we're still.. in yr 2! they earn the title of DR while we still are STUDENTS. (oh man, we can never have the DR title anyway) how time flies for them; and crawls for us. being with friends in sch is fun. its a bonding with ppl u'll nv get when u're in the working field. (no, not hpb bonding)

07-11-05` the bed ridden days

the bed ridden days are back. there's practically nothing to do except lying on my bed watching vcds - slp - watch vcds - slp.
its booooring. yawns.
need to get a life.

currently watching Tsubasa. another clamp production. what makes it special is that all the characters involved are frm the previous clamp works but in a different plot. like card copter sakura, chobits, clamp xue yuan etc. had all the elements of a good anime, keeps u laughing and crying. but somehow i find it abit.. err... slow progressing? plus the storyline is kinda sophiscated. it takes ur brain to rotate before u can understand, and when u do, theres a great deal of satisfaction within. but given my retardness, i'm trying hard to achieve that status.

06-11-05` dye hair

it'd been such a long time since my mom 'attend' to me. yar, only when i'm sick. recover 75% the next day and thats all her credits. but legs itchy so go shop. went bugis and suntec. played ddr and felt nausea all the way frm suntec back home. the fainty feeling makes me almost wanna hijeck a cab. taking a rest every now and then frm any spots with 2 big bags on my hands makes me looks like terrorist who wanna plant bombs. ppl and security giving me that 'i am watching you' sign frm 'meet the parents . fockers'. thinking of which i'm wondering how i managed to staggered back, alive.
dyed my hair today. back to the same place where i did my rebonding. the professionals cost 75 while the students $30. of coz the aunty spirit will prompt me for the latter. my hair was rebonded + it'd already coloured at the tails so further strong colours will blow my hair off, and it'll go fuzzie. under such circumstances, only the darker shades are the available options for me. to minimise the disappointment, i psycho myself that NDC is gonna love me for being such an obedient student. yar, it does help a lil. my hair is black gene in nature so the colours wont work well unless bleaching is done. but if i bleach, it'll go FUZZIE on the next rebonding. urrghs. the people there really gone an extra mile to see that my previously dyed hair matches my new colour. the teacher actually does most of the work than the student herself. haas, seems like mine is a difficult case. the difference between teacher and student? the student gets ur hair trapped into the hair dyer while blowing ur hair. its serious! my hair actually kenna 'vacuum' into the hair dryer while its blowing. ARRHHHH! had a big shock out of my life. luckily the girl immediately off the switch and the teacher helps to un-tangle the hair thats trapped inside. no major 'hair lost' but a few strands is inevitable. she apologised and can see that its unintentional. she said 'sorry sorry, ur traumatic day will be over soon' haha! to me its okay lahz, since i understand how its like being a student. like how we are like during our clinics, we hope the same understanding frm our patients too.
oh ya, and my hair now is copper which my mom says that its no difference frm black. haas, why cant she be more dishonest?

taken every 1/2 hourly, my temperature rose frm 38.6 - 38.9- 39.0. had a cold shower, stick the kool thing on my head, panadol extra. nothing works so far. i'm turning red!

tml my concession ends, but doubt can go anywhere with my present state. urgghs. will be spending the next few days clearing up the 'war zone' - the mess i created during exam period. then start organising my photo album, notes, practically all the big and small things.

i hate rain. and mosquitoes.

i couldnt remember anything frm the piece of paper i had my eyes laid on for the last 5 mins. bad memory. very bad. had a terrible headache this morning. must be the thunder storm last night that got me all chilled up, plus all the rentless mosquito attacks. pop in a tablet of panadol extra, but still feeling lethargic. worried that it'll gimme that 'brainwash' effect but still go ahead with it. have to 'tong' through. true enough, i stare blankly at the question paper. 'pregnancy woman', 'diabete mellitus'. instantly i know i'm blank inside. feel like u know it'll be out but just slip through ur fingertips. brain full of air u can call it. now that was the BIG headache. anyhow ja-bah-lan write in, hoping to strike. blahs!
didnt go anywhere else that i planned. too 'seh' liaoz. its so unlike of me!

2-11-05` PART II - the departure

was watching 'yong bao ming tian'
there was this departure scene of xiangxiang. and then soon will be spiderman turn. like what they mentioned, it feels really bad to depart with someone who is close to you though the 2 of you arent in family relation. this calls for my tears.
it immediately strikes me that its such a coincidental that he's leaving today too. another departure.
its gonna be a 21 days without msgs or calls. esp in this period when i'm most free after the exams. a tour is essential then to keep my mind off track.
my phone will be so 'dead'. there isnt much use for a phone. i'm used to recieving calls, msgs at particular timings that it feels weird to break the cycle. i'm used to turning my head back while using com to check for msgs; i'm used to see the green light shining; and yes now, at this particular time. but there wont be that green light there anymore.
its a subconscious habit, dependence, reliance. and i aint as strong as i tot i would be.
