today attachment is.. well dunno how to explain. my CS is nice, like my own mother. she knew my name b4 hand and i feel so much better. we speak chinese-cum-english. phew~ she's real friendly, n i'm glad to work with her. the kids were crying, trying to escape frm the dental treatments, throwing tantrums, talking among themselves. the suitation is so different frm the previous NUH attachment whereby they do things slowly and cautious towards infection control. for my case, there's always 2 paitents waiting thats why there's no time much for disinfecting every spot n by the procedure stated in our notes, its like wipe here, wipe there then wala! done. there's almost 3 or 4 students barged in every 10 mins n request for extractions! there's practically a LONG queue, like 5-6 paitents in there, running, shouting at their friends. wad a scene! its almost impossible to calm them down. i tried giving oral health instructions like toothbrushing but they simply arent listening! perhaps i'm not fierce enough towards them. feel kinda paisehz to give OHI - this is when i felt a tinge of regret esp after signing the bond. gotta give toothbrushing drill on friday. i have to learn to be brave.. n fierce too!
