18-02-15' CNY 2015; Prelims

I conveniently 'forget' that my prelim is less than 6 days and counting. The CNY mood is influential.

Revision? Nah. My thoughts were with CNY TV, CNY goodies, CNY movies. Please all gods and deities, please let me have a good CNY next year onwards, no more revision, tests and exams!

I busted my exercise regime by going to my company bowling session in the evening. By the time I reached home at 12am, the last thing I, or any sane person would want to do is to sweat it out in the gym (though it's 24hours open).

There goes, a break in my chain combo and the weight bounced back yet. Such shortlived happiness. I hate myself, agh!

And by having a KFC counter in the coffee shop near the foot of my block itself is a huge obstacle in my dieting. Whenever I walked past after my gyming, I'm drawn to it. I told Calvin I'll eat 10pcs of chicken one day during this cny because of the deprivation, since the plan has already gone wry. It could be the tiger in me which made me go wild on meat.

12-02-15' pants not so tight now.

My colleagues said I've shed some weight. YES, finally the gym membership, constant hydration and moderating diet pays off.

The achievements albeit a small one, is a great start and hope this momentum goes on. My colleague who lost 5kg by going to the gym (same as I but different branches) had to be my inspiration.

I was pretty much stucked in bringing down the numbers previously despite heavy workouts and blame it on the slow metabolism due to aging. Yes, we can't deny the nature course of slow metabolism as we grow older but watching your diet and drinking enough water helps heaps in losing weight. I've read an article that if you drink 3L of water a day, you'll lose weight even without doing anything extra. Much if these goes to the point that most of our food cravings derived from our body need of water as the signals got interpreted as cravings or hunger.

I'm still upset over my double chin and life buoyancy, haha. But I'm happy that now I'm able to run fast to the toilet without panting.
