I had 2 different reactions from people knowing about my breakup.

My driving instructor (inc): New year coming soon hor, 2 more days only leh. So when are you intending to get married?
Me: Not anytime soon. Because now no boyfriend.
inc: Aiyoh, why breakup? What did he do? He dumped you or you ditched him?
me: Haha, you asked the same questions as my mom!
inc: Really ah?! LOL.

and continued.

Primary school receptionist: Wow, you slimmed down so much! Your boyfriend say you too fat ah?
me: Because now no boyfriend so has to slim down to increase my 'resale value'.
recept: I'm happy for you! Let me matchmake okay? Leave your phone number behind.
me: *scribble on paper
recept: So I'll pull strings for you ah!

For the first time, someone was happy to know of my breakup. It makes me thought and asked myself, yea why not? Maybe for a short time, I was happy that I am single again.

28-12-09` bad night

I had a long time tossing in bed, again. There was so much left to be said but I never get the chance to say it anymore, of course it won't be making any difference.

Significant to me, to at least beautify the ending, to prove that the love did exist and the person I loved was worth my efforts. The past has been so unreal that I can't convince myself its not a dream.

It was never my intention to end it this way; was coerced to let the words out because you wanted your happiness. Be happy, because it was traded with mine.

I will be accepting other's pursue. Be happy, for me.

27-12-09` Prelude for 9 Jan

Calling all peeps, will be celebrating on my birthday on 9th Jan, Saturday. Meeting 2 groups separately. Never had a chance to blast it off within the same actual day. I've taken leave on that day. Please make yourself free, any excuse for absence will not be accepted. Details to be confirmed. Dinner at Ma Maison, Clark Quay. A booze at pub till late.

I don't know what I'm supposed to do. Life has become so boring.

2010 countdown I'll be sleeping.

25-12-09` Christmas day

I had a measly 5 hours of sleep and up now. Boo, sleep more! Today is my sleeping day!

I spent the rest of my Christmas day cooping in my room, sleeping, watching tv. Excused myself from the laps, shall continue tomorrow night.

The cold war between my mum is still on-going. I avoided conversations with her, being ever so cautious not to trigger the topic again. I thought of when to peace out but I'm not able to put it behind and pretended nothing ever happened. I'm wearing myself out.

Watched the sequel to the Jap drama, a special extension to sort of reinforcing the reason why they chose the ending for the last season. I cried my eyes out. It enlightened me, abit. Still, I wish for another ending.

Someday, the imperfections I've regarded now will be overlooked in future. I might consider dating a 50 year old, or a chap younger than me. The rationale is clear - you wanted a Billabong when you're 15; an LV when you're 35. Part of growing up. One day, someday, I will overlook these nitty gritty things and love a person for who he is.

For now, trust is building on sand. Faith? I probably will not be seeing someone as a prospect of tying the knot.

23-12-09` last minute shopping for x'mas!

A fulfilling day.

I started my driving lesson after renewing my PDL at the traffic police (because my instructor says there's no queue there, and its so dam true!) I realised they never fail to ask 'First PDL or renew?'. Similar to when I topped up my account, 'First or repeat?' Now, thats awkward. The TP will require parking to be done without the assistance of poles w.e.f March 2010. Gosh, please let me pass before then!

The servicing of the laptop was completed eariler than expected. The man said, 'December is the peak period, coincidentally the electronics decided to breakdown at this time'. As I mentioned to him the problem lies in auto-shut down, he said by changing a cooling fan in the unit will nurse the problem. Yup, so all the files and pictures are in, to much of my delight/dismay. Okay, now I should start worrying if the problem persist and redirect the cause to software issues. And I can't locate the extended 2 years warranty. Ala Bless.

Stomped the town to garner the last minute Christmas presents for my peeps. Tailored to individuals means I had a hard time deciding! Mission accomplished.

One of my colleuge casually remarked 'Wary, not to be anorexic'. This ignites a series of questions, if really I am anorexic. I do think through what I can eat, the timing and carbs for subsequent meals. If I had something filling or potentially weight gaining, I'll curse at myself for the lack of discipline and pinch the flabs in my tummy. Like a Mcsausage muffin together with milo this morning (and I sat through thereafter for my driving) sets the guilt trip; afternoon chicken bolognese and last through the night. I went for 6 rounds tonight and suffering the hunger pangs now. Anorexia? Certainly not bulima, yet.

06-12-09 - 16-12-09` JP picture first, story later

Blogger seriously has some issues with posting pictures up. It all appears as text here- so how am I to know where to add in the captions? Dumb.

JP Trip PI

This is the flight which was delayed for 2.5 hrs. After it boosted its engine on the runway and before taking off, the captain braked and we arched infront with the impact of 300km/h. Its later explained as 'bird flight/fright/fried' in the engine. Changed another aircraft.


Reached Narita Airport. Took the Narita Express shinkanse to Shinjuku.

Finally with Jing after an hour of combing the area. We were bad at directions, indeed! The poor girl is having a terrible eye infection and lugging her luggage trying to find me.


The cheeky me with favorite capsule machines! One of the machines ate my 200 Yen ($3)! :(


Dinner for the first night, Ramen! The cheapest we can find is around 400 Yen ($8)!




The next morning, free breakfast buffet at the hotel. The food is nice but we don't usually eat much for breakfast. My heart goes out to Jing who is full with merely 2 small sausages, pieces of ham and miso soup.

We spent 2 hours going down to Nagoya. We reached at 4.30pm and the Nagoya Castle closes at 5pm! Basically venture in, touch and go, haha.


Takopachi! We were all giggly while trying to converse with chef/owner who happened to be a young handsome japanese.


Autumn fallen leaves are so nice! We asked a young Japanese family to help us take a photo with the tree as backdrop and her jaw dropped. She was expecting us to take it against the majestic Nagoya Castle! Pardon us the caveman, cos we never had a chance to see such nice autumn leaves in our hometown.


I felt so apologetic for going to Toki Premium Outlet because we missed our train back to Tokyo and it was the last train of the night. Either we have to pay 10,000 Yen to take Nozomi train (not included with our JR pass) or a moonlight train which travels through the night, taking 4 hours to reach Tokyo instead of the usual 2 hours with shinkanse.

Harajuku! Its said to have cos-players on the streets on Sunday but we only managed to find one. :(

Travel west 2 hours to Kyoto, suburban town where to experience Japanese traditions, architectures. One of the Shrines.

Only bought 3 items from Disneyland. Mike from Monster Inc! Don't ask me about the price cos its simply not justifiable, I thought for a loooong time before buying this and left Jing laughing and perplexed.
