25-09-08` relationship?

When the lives of 2 integrated, forget about the romance. People take things for granted, face it. No matter how much you would like to deny on this point, that is a part of the human nature - when you are so comfortable, there is no sense of danger that anything (yes, anything in the universe) would rob you of what you have.

You are loving who I would be, not who I am nor going to be. People like beautiful things. But you cannot expect a Ms Singapore Universe to be one 10 years down the road, can you? Do you not understand, while a lady is devoting her youth to you, thats the prime of her entire LIFE. There is no U-turn sign ahead or time traveller. Nothing will buy her youth, not even the best equippments by the top-notch dermatologist. And its worth mentioning that women too has her expectations. aren't you glad that she did not expect or try to mould you into a super model to fit into her bill.

What ought to be of geniune concern turns out to be a routine question to me. Like a dad asking his son everyday, 'Have you learnt your spelling?' And you will have the same old answers that will led you to an straight As.

So do you think this is 'love'? I beg to differ.

When the time comes for her to dress up and make over, you ought to be wary. Because she sees a 'need' to do so, in order to be a head turner.

*PMS. And perhaps I am naive. The world of an adult proves to be too complicated to me. Please forgive me.

30-08-08` Chinese Garden Latern Festival 08

Chinese Garden on pre-Lantern festival! We went a day ahead of the actual day to avoid the crowd, but the land was flooded with people - saturday seems to be a better night for family outing compared to sunday?

It has been yearsss since I have visited the Chinese Garden! Or did I not? Oh well, never mind, I have recoup my lost memories of this oriental tourist attraction.

Bian and I were stumped by the traffic going in and out. The one-way, two lanes road with hazardous and idiotic, irresponsible drivers parking along the double yellow line of one way street. Either to save the per entry for carpark or time, fuel for the queue didn't manage to redeem them for the sins and they ought to be spit at.

Yups, yups, the pics galore!

Special mention: its under Uncle Rinko, familiar to you if you are a theme game lover! We tried on these 'swans'. It looks romatic but paddling with it is really hard! The directions are controlled by the gear, push up to go left and down to go right. We managed to go 2 rounds within 15 minutes grace and had lots of fun plus sweat!

My favorite Bad Badtz Maru! I've forced myself to remember the spelling of the black spiky delinquent when I was in Primary 6!

We were trapped in the jam for 45 minutes before heading home. I can see grins from the passerby as they proudly move on.

09-09-08` HAPPILY nEVER AFTER?

happily never after?

As the audience applauses when the film cut with shrek and fiona together, would anyone wonder what goes on behind the scences? i guess u would never get to see fiona scrubing the toilet bowl, arguing who left the toilet seat up, or who was the culprit who left the toothpaste cover hanging loose. these 'itnity dritty' of the daily lives are hidden well behind the dirty curtains of 'happily every after'.

i was taken aback by how i have been a shadow of another. i imagine my head being cut off and replaced by another in the memories we shared. i shruddered at the thought - it scares me. for it being subconscious means it has always been the case without u realising. terrible.

i am currently reading the book 'the pact'. a love story interwines with death and crime. its intriguing and sets me thinking (however, mostly the negative).
