the quality speaks for everything. u can be your own manicurist with such excellent grade.

25-11-07` P1 orientation. DDR competition?

had my P1 orientation on saturday.

BORING. no introductions for the health care workers were made.

the questions parents asked were about the same. our door was swing open wide to attract 'customers', and indeed our advertising method works, we had approxi 30 parents coming in. *

for it to be judged by the top scores worries me. my scores havent been fantastic especially for the supernova version where i trained only at parkway parade and causeway point. by scores it would also mean that if u can play basic well, u can actually get higher scores than harder levels like difficult and expert.

compeition meaning its a public event, witness by public. this not only adds on to my nerves but also my worry of frequent accidental trips i had during the games.

18-11-07` dinner at astons.

met up with joe, shixing and miao for dinner at astons.

it was a bold attempt of gathering without jing and tuckwei, the 2 bosses aka organisers. its not the norm with the bosses absent. i can feel the tight bond between the 2 botaks, see the little tiffs and bickerings of cat and dog as well as experience the continuing bombardment of rumours between shi xing and i by our matchmaker possessed joe.

astons specialities is a mmust try for all western lovers. simply heavenly! what the girls love most (aside the yummy food) is the service crew hunks, u can see miao's type there.

ying joined us later at the hong kong cafe after her work at Great World. we decided to patronise the cafe further up the road which, according to shixing, no more than 5 minutes walk. it felt like a 15 minutes walk to me, especially with the scene of a dead bat on the platform along the way.

the guys wanted to extend the night with games of pool but i opted out. while my narration stops here, they will have the details of the later part.

bian's company, noco regin, got the 2nd place in the excalibur bowling competition at serangoon garden country club.

don't get me wrong, but excalibur means the name of the his company building. internal competition u can name it.

the top bowler of his team got a score of 195 a game, constititue by a turkey - 3 strikes and a spare.

ignorance of this bowling centre lead me, hky, lpq to go to the 'we presumed nearest' bowling centre at yishun safra.

furthermore, the price of each game of the sgcc sets me jaw drop - $0.95.

my jaw only went up when i saw the wordings on the door panel - for members and their guests only.

and the membership costs 20,000 excluding the monthly and miscellous charges.

now i know we can go to kovan to bowl. there's a tiny superbowl at a secluded spot which takes no more than 15 mins walk from heartland mall.

when the cat is away, the mice came to play.

my senior is away for her medical appointment and here i am, 'celebrating' school holidays together with the kiddies.

first time blogging within the weekday, time frame of 0800 to 1730. which i am supposedly NOT to.

playing CD using the desktop, munching chocolates, sipping apple juice. bian brought me out for lunch at Hougang central.

i will be leaving my basic theory manual in the clinic. just like your school days when u left your books chucked aside, and busy holing yourself in your room burning the night away before major exam. yes, i can see myself burning my night before the theory exam.

the school holiday acts as a period for the DTs to cool their heads and rest their mind. since they probably lost their sanity all year round.

i realised one phemonemen within the dental field. adults who wants to claim their dental benefits within the effective year will all swam to have their treatment done on the LAST day of the year. same for the kiddies, they came knocking on your door 'desperately' on the LAST day before the holidays, for extractions, polishing and all kinds of nonsenses.

conclusion? it is apparant that singaporeans are last minute kan jiong spiders, no matter young or old. yaps. i am one too. LOL

yupps, a thursday down all hail to deepavali!

03-11-07` impeccable service course

the 04 DTs attended the impeccable service course over the last thurs and fri.

which in my opinion, a getaway from screaming kids. was dealing difficult patients who were the last lot to clear for this year. i can sense my blood pressure rising. and of course, my senior can share with u how peeved i were. staying in this line will probably turn me into a 'lecturous' (not lecher) mother.

the activity that is the lamest - energy ball, the best - the egg drop test.

we were to design a container to hold 2 eggs which will be able to go through a 'free fall' at a height of 1.6m (or so). out of the 4 teams, only mas group managed to secure the eggs in a 'keputa' style. ours "bye bye to breakage", by hky, lpq, tww, yft and i, managed to save one! we were proud our achievement becos we were fumbling with the straws and by the time for test drop, we were 90% sure that the eggs wont survive (it looks like it won't).

aren't u convinced now? 'bye bye to breakage', i wonder how hky managed to lied through her teeth to blast this title. too artistic to be true!

there is a good-o-meter and bad-o-meter in everything. in r/s, blahs blahs. would u just emphasize on the good to reflect your happiness? the balance should be tip towards the good but when it goes off scale, it becomes 'flaunt'. i can see some are genuine cases of love birds and yupps, nonetheless than beng and jing. :)
