23-09-12` Scoliosis. Dilemma.

Scoliosis, an abnormal curvature of the spine, can cause postural problems e.g. uneven shoulders (due to bad distribution of body load), hunchback, muscle aches etc. Chiropractic helps to ease off these symptoms and I have been putting off the treatments for the longest time. I envy my friends who are in the government sector, because the medical perks are much better. These are times I reconsider the option of joining an organization rather than a private firm (or clinic). I need to study. I want to travel. All done before married or settling down. This will be at the expense of giving up dental. I am not sure. For something I was so familiar for the past 5 years. I felt an ache in my heart and a voice telling me to reconsider. I don't want to disengage with dental. The images of my regular patients came to my mind and guilt seep through for abandoning them. I have committed myself too much for my current placement that I find myself hard to tender my resignation. But then, if the change doesn't happen now, then it wouldn't happen ever or rather I wouldn't consider in the later time because of age. I guess from the time I decided to embark on the journey of studies I should prep myself that I am going down a different path. It annoys me to realise how frail my determination is.

09-09-12` Nova's daughter birthday

Nova's daughter celebration last week. This picture taken with compliments from Nova's husband SLR. The amount of stress you faced at work is massive but thankfully for these guys, it seemed much lighter. * Econs classes are coming to an end (with 3 other modules starting). Though Ah Zhang teaches fast (expect nothing less from a phD), he cares alot of this part-time class. Its evident from his fatherly talk, pressing us a need to change our lifestyle to apt to taking a part-time degree and comforting us that its because the paper set by UOL is hard by nature. We did badly in the tests as what he termed as, 'diasatrous'. Well, we will try harder, hor?
