30-12-2008` New Year 2009

I'm turning 22. Kinda dreadful but we can't stop time, can we?

Being a January baby doesn't bring much joy. Because you would be aging eariler than your cohorts, or say most of your buddies. And people has already been generous with Christmas presents that left to say very much for January presents.

I'm glad to have found PQ. At least there is PQ into this with me. LOL.

27-12-08` post xmas

Its heartening to see people still basking in Xmas mood. People are giving, giving even more from the incredible folks around me.

I shall spend more time talking to my-self tomorrow. My private space.

26-12-2008` hky birthday celebrations. x'mas eve.

We went for a second round of celebration for our dear hky's 21st birthday (Partly because this guilty girl missed her chalet eariler on because she's away).

We booked a table for 4 at Ma Maison, Clark Quay. We thought it was a surprise to her but she'd been to the restuarant before! Ok, so now we all know the silver tastebuds from experience of gourment hunting she has at such a tender age.


The key leds to our payment and no, it remains to be the property of Ma Maison.


How generous can one be to pose such an.. obsence (and cute?) picture!


The gifts from Ah Tan! You can definately tell the piggy is for hky. I have gotten the froggy which has difficulty opening its eyes because of its heavy eyelids. haha!


We went to 'The Clinic'. This plan was supposed to carried out last year on her birthday but we came to consenses that we were too tired and skipped that. The bar has all its furniture all set in a hospital setting and we had our fun on the wheelchair.

I have learnt that no matter how much you don't like to do certain thing, you cannot (or rather, unable to) force another to follow your way. It upsets me terribly bad. As much as I wanted him to accomodate my wills, i know he's expecting me to do the same. Give-and-take is what people always says but will it led to an equilibrant?

It should be selfless. Yes, the problem lies with should be.

I prefers honey stars to coco crunch. Not anything the matter but I used to love cocos to bits.

Met up with Ying, Jing, Miao last night at vivo. Have fun on your journey to KL, people!

My body is not able to take late nights unlike before. I will switch to hibernation mode when the time past 10pm. Pardon my inactivity.

06.12.08 - 10.12.08` HK trip

Hong Kong trip!


We walked till my spinal problems relasped, just like an old granny who constantly needs to rest her back. We managed to hit most of the tourists attractions, but regrettably didn't fare well in the gourment hunt.


I find a tinge of similarity between HK and TW. Perhaps its due to the neon lights, tall residences. The difference is certainly the language barrier. I'm like a mute there and a deaf too when I didn't realise the sales were talking to me. OMG!



This is one interesting signage. It means when you're 2 years old / above the height, you can travel (and pay) by yourself!


View from the Avenue of Stars. Just like what you see in HK dramas. But it does feels like Esplanade when I was there.

We chanced upon this Toilet theme restuarant in Mongkok. We wanted to look for a toilet actually, kemms...

The dishes are served in 'mini toilet bowls'!

We went to the wax museum (Madam T... I have problem remember its name!). You can tell who enjoyed it more, haha.

All the branded stores in Central. I didn't have time to browse them all. Aww..~

MTR to Disneyland!

Its so magical! Fulfils the fantasy dream of every little girl who wants to be a princess just once.

FUN! I wanted to go back for my unfulfilled adventures!

The only setbacks are probably the nanny airbus which traumatised me badly how irritable kids can be. One jealous kid starts crying for his mummy and set the alarm of the infant going. Oh please! Don't bring your child onto a plane if they cannot behave (or listen to you). I swore to myself I will not sow the sins when I have my own children.

And other, being trapped in the customs for one full hour. Grrs, the automated clearance machine was on maintenance when 2 planes touched down and people were flooding the hall. No priority was given to residents and the queues for all were as long.

Haha, despite the grouses, travelling is still worth the take. ;)

I'm back from Hong Kong trip. Read this: itssureisfun!

03-12-2008` Fabian's D&D

Attended Fabian's company Dinner & Dance. Its held at Furama Hotel, the same for our DT day! but not at Tiffany cafe this time, its the ball room I think, you know where wedding dinners are held.

Its rare for me to put on make-up cos the deadly powder clogs my pores a hell lot. More photos will be uploaded in FB.

By looking at the lucky draw gifts, you can predict the backup funds for the company. There were 30 draws with the smallest prizes equaviliant to $300, and the champ prize being a 40 inched LCD TV.Every staff gets a $20 grocery voucher and a $50 mall voucher. I was reminded of my $15 grocery voucher I won at DT day. Dramatically big difference!

They even engaged an airbursh tattoo artist to help the crowd doing fake tattoos for free! The enthu uncles got dragons on their neck, arms and.. forehead! So this is mine on arm, luckily it can be covered nicely under my 'office wear'.


Fabian attended a seminar for work at Suntec and he brought this back! I must say the company is really creative in making an impression! (Nope its not that company, the AIA prints only serves a backdrop. No advertising gimmicks intended.)

02-12-08` 2009 new year resolutions.

2009 new year resolutions.

1. Happiness (be contented)
2. To reply sms, pick up or return calls by the next day
3. To have an active social life with my friends
4. To go travelling abroad at least x2 a year
5. To be more patient (to wait 45 mins for a meal - compared to the 30 mins now)
6. To review this list by the end of next year and see how many I have achieved.

Lets not be ambitious and stick to 6. Like what Mr Tan Hwa Ngee (my secondary maths teacher - ah jing's favorite) said, 'No point anyhow shoot at the birds. You might as well aim one at a time and shot them down.' He is a man of honour, excudes charms and beholds fighting spirits.

01-12-08` changes

Changes, it happens every second as the world rotates.

It may be so slight that its gradual. Nevertheless, the impact will be olivious in due time.
