29-08-08` First year anniversary

today marks our one year anniversary!

enough of slogging my life off, i decided to take my precious half day leave and take a break.

we went to the singapore flyer! my smart ass remembers to bring the camera (yes, this time) without the battery. i left it charging before my tw trip. -___-" like what bian said, we'll remember the beautiful images in our memory.

we watched Wall.E. we noticed the trend of going for kindy genre movies. probably to bring out the child in us (esp we're busy acting / playing the role of deterrant adults all day).

i was showered with gifts yet again. *loved.

as expected, my luggage packing lags behind. was frustrated. grr...

a part of me would not be the same becos he is not with me. i'll miss him lotss.

25-08-08` right eye swollen

it has been a fulfilling and action-packed weekend. we started off with fireworks on friday, and night safari with hky, lpq on sat, ended with 'money no enough 2' at s'pore max pavillion together with jing, miao, tuckwei, joe and shixing.

my right eye is swollen due to my progressive use of contact lenses. the pair of lenses has not been comfortable but it was only during the last 3 days, it finally fall to the invasion of bacteria.

i'll be leaving for tw with hky, lpq, tww from the 30-08-08 to 03-09-08. the wait is finally over! the sole motivation that keep us going to work since june. *and i'm expecting the vigorious nodding from them. lol

22-08-08` Singapore Fireworks 2008

Credentials to joe for letting bian and i the tickets to the fireworks! this post wont be possible without him.

Singapore Fireworks is organised at the Esplanade floating platform, exactly the one ndp was held minus all the grand mega screens, giant speakers and extension platforms.



Before the centerstage, there's rows of stalls goes along with true sg pasar malam style. and to bian, it becomes a 'high class pasar malam' becos of its location and significance.



a new stuff up!


the kids are loving it! due to the limited space in the pool, the speed is greatly compromised and they bump to one another quite alot. they gained 'one minute of fame' as people (like me) snap pictures of the novetly.


the crowd / mummies are helping the kiddos to move!

we spent some time finding our seats thats on the upper right of the platform. its close to the merlion and has a magnificant view of the CBD buildings!

sorry that the quality of pictures are compromised. due to my negligence, i have to rely on my pathetic N95 for the pictures. i didn't realised i left my digi cam or rather i forgot that i need to bring a digi cam. -__-"






the theme for this fireworks parade is romance France. my first time sitting in to experience the entire show coupled with lasers and sound effects! its an out of the world exhilrant! phrases like 'the sky is snowing with gold', 'spurting glitters into the sky'; stupid yet true to u at the grandstand.

10-08-08` prada for him

An advance b'day present for my boy.

an ideal gift (after much nagging for him to change his wallet). he's happy and i'm happy.

i have done enough saving up for this moment though i shrivel at the critical part. the fear he'll discard the small leather good after the fun or when the design becomes passé. his reassurance had given me confidence. :)

* grasp! its till date the most expensive item i've brought over the counter.

10-08-08` unwell

i was plagued by this 'unwell' feeling for the past 2 days. i don't know exactly whats the cause or what it is leading to. the taste, feeling, way u would feel in your orifices when u're down with a fever or cold.

i'm sorry my friends for putting u off an aeroplane. i missed the ndp flag formation i knew i would regret for many years to come; mini gathering with my besties on sun.

watched 'kizoro' a jap movie aired in the theatres eariler this year. its about bitter romance and u betcha on a million bucks, it sure did activate my 'tap'. i've lost much water and felt dehydrated.

i've slept quite alot these days, practically sleeping my days off which i find it such a pity got a long weekend. i'm disorientated, like having a withdrawal symptoms for taking coccaine.

disorientated, i'm not making any sense with the flow. i gathered i need more rest.

03-08-09` mac donald jigsaw

we completed a 300 pcs puzzle of mac donald's vintage style. images of my childhood memory strikes when i laid my eyes on that box. the good old days of my brother and i begging my mom to bring us there, fiddling with the toys that come along with the happy meal.

interestingly, i was inspired to frame it up and mount it onto the wall of my future toilet! the connection? i don't know!

i must say its a masterpiece after i've done a search on the internet. the puzzle features the outlets which has a significant design like the one in tolerno, hamburg and not to mention the friends of ronald mac donald!

we spent about an hour to complete the job. we'll continue to challenge and scale greater heights.
