28-12-06` xmas

24th
spent my night with jing, ying, tuck wei, joe, and their 2 other friends (one of them is jing's classmate!). we kicked off with steamboat at a mini restuarant oppo bugis junction. the food selection there is kinda limited so.. its not exactly a good place for foodies. the ultimate eating machine price goes to tuckwei who never seem to stop except when he's telling lame jokes and sipping water.
the ladies had to rush down to vivocity to collect the tickets before he's done with his meal. and yea, the countdown? walking along the open areas of vivo with groups screaming 'MERRY XMAS!' around us. we're considered cool headed there.
'night at the museum' was nice! 5 minutes into the show i thought i was going to fall asleep and indeed i am, i found myself snoozing away, nearly to the stage of shutting my eyes but as the story goes, it gets more exciting. the triump over my sleeping bugs that leech for days concludes that its a movie worth watching!

25th
it was noon when i'm awake. went k-ster with joyce and pq. the charges went up. we spotted a baby-teenage cockroach of abt 5cm x 8cm. eeeuhhhs~ the door is faulty, the song system went gaga (3 pages of our songlist MIA due to technical fault).
pq had her revenge. she made joyce carried her BAGS (3 of them) around cityhall like what joyce had done to her last yr, bringing her GIANT hello kitty ard town.
we lied to joyce all along from chinatown to cityhall. to lure and abduct her to our 'surprise'. we're crowned as 'excellent liars' by her! :)
dine at new york new york. the food there is DIVINE! heavenly! we girls had alot of laughing done. simply joke abt everything and anything like how chocolate goes well with bananas!

14-12-06` tv up

my tv is up and running! after 3 weeks of blank screen its finally showing the beautiful remix of colours. its until then i realised that the 10pm news includes chinese subtitles! *faint

i shud really watch my expenses. i can no longer curb the temptations. impulsive. very often, resulting regrets. need to emphasize the difference between 'wants' and 'needs'.
thereby, remove the magical cards will do just the trick. ;)

13-12-06` wrong account number

never be complacent with the capability of your memory. thats for my case, member of the blur sotong clan. life scenario - filling in a wrong digit of the account number on my check cause me a sleepless night. just becos i THOUGHT i had the numbers imprinted in my brain. ARRHS. spur moment of being smart alex. i was waiting for their call to clarify abt the matter but none called! i was OMG OMG the whole night through.
then the relief came the next day. haas. well, all thanks to the smart processing machine of the POSBank that the money is still credited to my account. (though i seriously wonder how they managed to do it with only the name of the aaccount holder together with the wrong account number)
the advance in technology is awesome.

11-12-06` dry cough

i'm suffering from dry cough for 2 days now. it is highly uncomfortable (itchy and irritating) to me and noisy for the people around me. a portable noise pollutant.
its contagious. i was the victim together with 3 others plus the 'host'. i better put on a mask when talking to my family at home but as for public, i'm sorry, people its just your luck to talk to me. haas.

the repairmen said that the fuse (or something liddat) of my tv had blown and due to the availablility of the stock, my poor won't be fixed till wed. i will be missing more programs! shucks!

07-12-06` tv down

i predicted that the upcoming months will be tough on my pockets. look at the events!

folks, for ur updates, the rebonding effects doesnt stay (apparently, to me). due to layerings and the fact that a stronger barrier exist from perm to rebond (than rebond to perm). if u can recall the chemical reaction euqations from your good-old-days secondary school chemistry:
rebond -ok- perm.
perm -x- rebond.

my tv has been down for the past 2 weeks. i have to turn to the com for my only source of visual entertainment. whats the whole idea of having SCV when your tv monitor is giving your blank screen. BLAHS. fustrations! i miss my potato couch days. :(

30-11-06` rebond hair

despite the friendly objections from my dear friends, i went ahead to rebond my hair. there's an internal struggle within becos i cant get back the waves again unless by the very same salon in shanghai. for an easier management and a change, (psst, i was using the clinic's phone in attachment!) i made an appt with a salon in chinatown which claims that they use the lastest x-tenso rebonding that gives 3x straighter, smoother, strengthness and blahs.
i lost my way through the pagoda street. heeding the instruction to walk along the left after the exit, i went all the way until i'm at the junction, behaving like a fresh tourist first day in singapore and collecting tonnes of stares for that. well, i made an u-turn and realised it was on level 2 and only abt 20 steps from the exit. -_-". i really arent good in directions, am i?
a lesson learnt- never trust the leaflets stating promotions. TRAPS. i only came to know i have to pay extra 50 bucks for the recommanded sesheido product after i laid my butts on the chair. like an ant slip into a pitcherplant.
i was thinking of having those heavy sling fringe that curves down but the rebonded texture doesnt allow for that unless i apply those hair set spray that 'freeze' my hair in place until they 'got used' to the new position. ARHHHS! that spells great pressure against my lazy nature. so in a haste decision, my fringe was cut to those liken to the baby DOLLS. (if u can remember the fringe of the once famous 'chinadolls') OMG that is so PASSE!
i'm surprised when someone actually walks up to me and asked me where i did my rebonding! she says it look smooth and straight. :)
the texture and straightness was never so in my last rebonding attempt a couple of years back. i simply LOVE the feel and look when its tied up!! WOOTS!
but i still HATE my fringe to core!
