29-06-06` reflections

i was thinking..

relationships need to be mutual. may it be friendships and such. if one keeps initiating and turn out being rejected all the times, put yourself in her shoes.

being busy may be true but u cannot make it an excuse, unless u're working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. there's bound to be a couple of days or at least a couple of hours u aren't occupied. this is simply a game of manipulating your time. it puts the balancing skills to a test.

i used to spent more time on studies than hanging out with friends. but studies aint everything. u might graduate with straight As and get a diploma; others might graduate with Bs and Cs yet get a diploma too. when it comes to an end, u get the pride but u lost the people who'll be happy for you as well. for all, your achievements are built on the sacrifical of your friendships.

give it a thought.

16-06-06~ 25-06-06` shanghai

finally shanghai trips.
shall not elaborate in details (cos i cant remember much through out the 9 days.)

didn't manage to catch much sleep on the 5 hours plane journey there. too many distractions besides the excitement of boarding a plane, the chattering of the family who's scattered ard my seat, inconsiderate people winding up the window shutter to allow BEAMING lights in.

free food and lodging. how nice. hahas..

i cried on the first night. wondering into the night how am i gonna survive with the family whom i barely knew for 12 hours for another 8 more days, what's holding for me in the next a week plus. uncertainty fills me and suddenly felt that my 600+ spent on the air tickets seems like a big big mistake.

more sight-seeing and brief shopping for the weekend. under the graciousness and courtsey of her family, i get the gist of the country (food, scenery - inclduing all those scenes in MI-3, goods) in just a few days time.

S-H-O-P-P-I-N-G and more shopping packed up the schedules of the coming days.
it appears that the things i managed to get for hky and pq combined are far more than what i get for myself. probably due to the mindset of keeping my hands off the things i want but steep price until the last few days when i had gotten all the important things thats in priority. but i never thought that in the end the hard-tightly-gripped money i scrimped and saved were loan to my mom, since she's with travel agency whereby things 'naturally' will cost more than usual as vendors jerk up their prices to earn as much as possible from the 'FAT FISHES'.

the next thing that marks my impression - the traffic. the two lanes of different directions are separated by no more than 2 white lines. And along with each path is a narrow lane for motorbikes and bicycles. danger lukes even after crossing the main roads.

the sky brightens up by 5 in the morning and by 6, the sounds of the horns bombard the air. it's 'pooog pooog poog' in every 5 minutes. so its a mircale if u can sleep your day off into 8 plus.

following the incident of buying saroong cloth in m'sia which deprive me of the time and freedom to step into any other shops, in this episode, she and her friend were frantic in buying FRUITS. peaches, cherries, lychees.. OMG. we face the risk of having to declare, detained, discard our luggage or simply put to say INTO DEEP TROUBLE just becos of importing illegal fruits not being being checked by the health authories here.

i'm back home. nothing beats the air, people, and TRAFFIC here. lols

photos were taken using their digicam. will post if i can and/or i remember.

missed an episode of superband. the show that lucify got the highest marks of 38 /40. drats!

12-06-06` little lamb mongolian steamboat resturaunt.

little lamb mongolian steamboat resturaunt recommended by hky. we went there for lunch at one but was told by the neigbhour of the resturaunt that it wont open till 3 or 4pm. *pengs..

explored the new bugis point icon, beside wisma alsagoff. "alsagoff" - haas. owe to the smarty witty pq who spot the building after reading the review on the papers. umms.. in summary, its hong kong miniature sized shops packed with latest trendy stuff. each shop has only the area of > a typical mama shop. Monday blues should explains why some of the shops were closed for the day.

i swore that we almost combed the entire bugis estate idly with the 3 hours.

when we returned to the 'lil lamb', one of the staff who's pushing the gasoline tank motioned that they won't open till 5. *pengs x2. oh great, another hour to go. we went over to the dessert restuarant next door, not becos we're hungry or anything but we're simply too shag to walk around.

we only managed to step into 'lil lamb' at 5.20. -_-"

the serving for our table is a real lot. looking at couples to our left and right, their plates are half of ours. applause for hky who miracly finished the entire mountain stacked mutton slice all by herself. an hour passed and none of us could take in anymore. i got to a stage whereby the food ingested filled to brim of my stomach. almost half of my GI tract i suppose. all of these was to avoid us being fined by the sur-charge imposed on food wastages >200g. but at the end of the day, we surrendered. we would rather pay the extras than to stuff anymore of them into our mouths.

a sudden aura came and i can literally feel the food bobbling in my stomach and intestines. i vomitted. haas, so ppl, pls trust ur instinct. they works :)

accompanied hky home. bleahs, i'm not that nice. its to borrow her luggage case for my trip. hees. meeting weider after that so towed the bulky case along. embarrassing!

10-06-06` silent hill

silent hill - the game my bro and i used to play on PS which we cant even make it through the second stage. the RPG game that got us fed up after being stuck, walking round in circles for weeks. haas. the movie will be much of a help if we were to play that game again. i was told that the genre was thriller, action. but NO, its HORROR. i only realised that point when i watched it. my first instinct was to pick up my bad and scuttle off. GRUESOME will be the exact word to describe it. i love the plot. smart. it plants the element of suspense in u that a sudden 'BANG!' will make u jump and hit the roof. almost as good as constantine. a 4 / 5 for me! =)

thieves are the worst lot of people who doesnt care a damn of the feelings of the innocent victim and the impacts that will have on them just because of their act. their one simple act.

03-06-05`

one attachment series down. by the end of the month, i only have 5 patients. its amazing how the young ones, together with the old ones (starring the parents) can lie through their teeth to say 'yes, coming for dental appointment' a few days ago and with you waiting till the end of the day with empty hopes. i can only say 'a-leh-lu-ya, god bless your teeth.' i shall not call until i really have to. it just sounds lame to me - it makes no difference in bringing up their turn-ups but to make you more disappointed in how people place their priorities in life.

Gotta plan everyday programs. urrghs.. struggling.
