borrowed 2 more books from the library. its such a coincidence both books i've gotten have their front cover bright pink and that the main leads in the books (yupp, thats 3 books in a row) have the surname 'sinclair' in them! different authors, different origin, different titles, different names but bearing the same 'sinclairs'. well, izzit real coincidental or izzit that that 'sinclair' surname is gaining its fame in the hollywoods or simply the family is more productive to leave their 'trademarks' all over? haas.

asked joyce to wake me up 4am on the 29th to register for elective. somehow my instincts told me i'll oversleep -- n yea i did. so luckily i gave her my admin no and password so she can reg for me when she'd done for herself. when i got up at 8, all the vacanies for leadership studies were snap up! thank god for joyce help, i owe her a big time!

sch reopening on mon. panicking now to pack myself with the right mood to start the term ahead. gotta work tml n probably the weekends as well. the wine job is the job yet so far to make me have so lil confidence in making it right. if i drop a bottle of wine, uh-oh, there goes my whole month of salary. somehow it'll destroy u utterly. self esteem, morality, black-listing.

24-06-05 -- 25-06-05` 1st day as server . initial D

24-06-05. worked or trained as server at a wine.bakery house. its like a country club serving wine n deli near st george church and tanglin mall. remember names of the wine, originality, location, special characteristics etc. learn how to open bottles of wine, pour n serve them. its hell tough work.
25-06-05. watched initial D with ying. luckily manage to collect the tickets frm the AXS station i've booked online on tues. the movie itself is funny. and i mean that kind of funny that'll blow ur tummy away just by luffing alone. u'll realise that u've actually luff along with all others in the cinema almost throughout. centering abt car racing. cool graphics, sound effects, everything. i simply love the way they 'drift' n skii to turn their cars. whooshh veeee!

23-06-05` k-boxing!

sang frm noon 1.45 till 7.30pm. shiok! tough on ying, being tortured by my off-keys, wrong lyrics n wild laughter after missing the notes.
wasnt sure we are to stay n sing till ppl get us out or continue counted as extension hrs. the difference? between paying n not paying money. i asked the more-friendly-looking waiter who served us whether we're paying to sing more or wait till we're being chased away. he said 'depends on situation' haas. what a reply! so i continue to probe 'so hows the situation like now?' lolz.. finally we thick-skin n stay for awhile more despite his STRONGLY encouragement for us to get another drink each at $5+++. just by knowing the triple + makes us sweat. we had more than enough water by counting the number of times we went to the ladies. think i went 5 times? =/ well, its ard there. bladder wasnt very 'zhen qi'. oeps..

22-06-05` rebonding

rebonded my hair at Top image hair salon and acadamy. recommended by ying =) its done by the professionals. u can opt for the trainees at a lower price. haas.. i was thinking since they have the capability to teach others how to cut hair, they shud be more than qualified in doing hair stuff. the feeling of 2 -3 person blowing ur hair is great. lolz. true enough, i'm happy the way my hair is now. finally i'm saved frm the curls!
asked ard a few salons before that but results arent satisfying. becoz my hair is too dry and already permed, soft rebonding can only restore it to original style that is not totally straight or rebond. or another stylist who suggest to cut off the frizzy parts which is 1/2 of my remaining coloured hair after rebonding. i must say i'm impressed by the theory stuff he said regarding how to go abt doing my hair but its student price 160, original price was 200. too ex!

19-06-05 -- 21-06-05` genting

the day when i go genting, i had my hair curled. its in a disaster state n i'm seriously thinking of going rebonding. cant revive the situation besides that rights?
genting --
took a coach to get there. along the way there's areas totally without street lamps at all! imagine travelling at 9pm to 3am, its all dark! i'm glad that i made it there. and back.
spent 6 hrs or so travelling and another 6 hrs JUST to check in. oh man! was typically rotting there. realised that i brought my storybook along until i was in my room. *bumps.
missed the snowcity n theme parks there. no one company me n cant possibly drag my parents in. haas. had bowling instead. finally had a chance to see my mom bowl! its such a rare sight! her style is like the ah-du-gan style in street fighter whereby she THROW the ball along the lane. but to a big SURPRISE, she actually did quite well with a few strikes here and there. eventually her total score was double of mine! urrgghs.. i kept sending my ball down to the left drain though it looks like falling into the right drain. it just change its course of direction liddat, within snaps of ur fingers.
was pretty bored there, feeling kinda alone, no one to talk to and phone was out of batt.
took a cab n went temple pray pray. eating eating n more eating was what we did on most of our spare time.
this trip greatly influenced me the importance of a video cam. the view there was fabulous but all i can bring home is a picture of it in my mind.

played pool today. what a disaster! think my white ball jumped for err.. 12 times and went straight into the hole for abt 20 times? hahaz.. had the tendency to send the white right into the hole. izzit that i'm fond of white or i'm wearing white or thats too good / bad of an aiming? had 3 rounds for 2 hours? lolz! its physical, mental, time exhausting to teach such a student like me!

went out with joyce today - bra hunt.
drats the ones we're looking for already arent in sight anymore. probably becoz its season ends. so we did some window shopping in hope to get others. tried robinsons, C K tang, Isetan, Metro, Taka. haas, still no.
joyce had gotten real many many stuff. earns her the title of being 'fu po (rich tai tai) of the day' i had lost count with the number of pairs of ear rings she bought! its plenty.
had 'Fried ice-cream' (chao ice cream) buffet! its ard 7 bucks per person, free flow drinks additional 2 bucks. being having our 1st time there, we 2 sua ku kia asked the lady to demo to us how to come abt making those ice cream- fried. this is how it goes. select the flavours of the liquified ice cream frm the shelves and pour one of them onto the steamboat-like-thing. i dunno how it gets 'fried' so i asked her 'if its left for too long, wont it get 'chao ta' (burnt)?' she explained that the process is by cooling, so it wont get chao ta but frozen instead. we were STUNNED. Are u? hahaz. then u spread the liquid with the tapanyaki metal thing along sideways, circular. wait for awhile n ta-da! - its done! there's free flow of crushed peanuts, chocolate flakes, rainbow flakes, love letter waffle (chocolate n strawberry). the ice cream we had are:

been having too much of the negative tots. capable of letting my imagintaion run wild involuntarily.
perhaps if i keep myself occupied, things could be controlled - at least temporarily.
the plans or projects coming up - 1 finish reading my library books - wedding bell blues, 'ba tian kong huan gei ni' so glad i found them. addictive ones. gonna dig for more on the next visit.
2 doing mAine's birthday card though we can get nicer n instant ones on the market but well.. it can keep my mind off track n its more heartwarming to recieve one made by friends isnt it? *grins.
3 finding MORE ppl to go out! planning activities. the spectaculars **monday- outta with joyce to buy bra tgt. hees! tuesday - going bugis with ying. wandering ard aimlessly, looking ard. thursday - learning to ride a 2 wheel bicycle from jing (only know how to ride 3 and 4 wheels bic for the time being. grrr)

its yummy to max! real good i can tell u. to a point i'm guilty of being a woman who cant cook at all or to say my best dish is - maggie mee plus egg. unbelievable someone of the same age can wipe up such delicacies. XD there's spagittee, fried rice - whoa, i simply love the meat! had no clue how she marinate it, fruit salad - its godness! with strawberries! hehz.. only left a pathetic few pieces for ying. abt 10%. lolz. and and there's raisins, cornflakes (ying's snowflakes), apples (green n red), papaya and all the nuts thats possibly available in the market. the colours combination is awesome, very appetising!

bought a pair of 3/4 pants from eBASe, a 5/6 (think is approxi that length) pants frm BUM. it'd been a long time since i saw the clothings i like. those 'yi jian zhong qing' kind. hmmz... still intend to get a pair of shorts (probably frm queenstown coz jing got the ones i like there for just 10 bucks! geez, can make a trip down to ikea too since its just a few traffic lights away. whoo.. the hotdog there is great! ), a skirt, a PUMA shirt (drats i look fat on the one i fancy, so i give up on it. the search is on.), a flip flop, a ladies sandle (frm far east, 16 bucks). guess i cant 'conquere' this wishing list within this period of time, already loan lotsa money frm parents liaoz. waiting for sponsor arrival.
