lAst day of attachment at NUH..
got up rather early, 5:30 n reach buona vista mrt 6:50.
checked xander's seat yesterday G-36 so me very de 'accidentally' walked over there. haha.. he told mee today is his b'day! *shockie shockkiee! tian ahhh!! didnt prepare anything. X( kekez, but manage to shake hand with him. *blusshie. ;p today then i know he's the class rep. a bossy, KPo yet low-lying rep is the title he gave himself. hA.. as usual the 'DA bing spirit' =)
only got him 2 pathetic slices of cake frm bengawan solo downstairs plus the biggest 'da bing' (walnut cookie) i can find there. urrgghh.. feel so lousy. asked jia ching to pass it to him coz its like a sin to bring food in esp i'm under surveliance by all de ppl ard. n the next thing i saw when i went back to the clinic is the pathetic 2 bags up on the cubicle wall. -_-" *grrr... he arh.. oh well, i guess he must had thrown them away, fearing that i'll dupe the food n 'do something to him' or put 'xie yao'.

aww.. gonna miss the attachment sooooOo much esp the ppl there. =_(

for those who concerned, i'm okay le! (or u can say its lotsa bettA =D) can start jumping around *boing boing!
mAybe its becOz i treat his's her more as a friend , the feeling faded and the 10 hours of slp *it really helps! well, its nice to see both of the person whom u like to be together =)

slept at 8 last night. whOo~ really tired frm all the standing n observation..
this moRning me n geOk observed the tallest man - tallman (kelvin) doinG chArting for his new patient whom we think is his friends becoz their tones are rather.. kemm.. casual. as usuAl me n geok laugh for every big n small things that happened n was given the title 'giggly' -_-" ha.. though its quite true lahz.. he told us to tAlk to the patient instead of giggling, start with introducing ourselves, tell him his name.. we were like.. o_O! huh! *stunned. then we told tallman our names lohz.. at first goEky says 'geokshan' then he repeated after her 'geok..shan' 'then the other one?' i was thinking.. 'me - thE OTHER ONE!?' say a few times he cant catch it so let geoky do the job. *sigh.. geok did charting fOr him, me no business sO was dragged away by miss tan (t.weiwei) to gO see yanxu n xander dOing RD.
gOsh!! i start to idolise xAnder. initially becOz of his name. its so cOooool! imagine 'ale-xander' oringinates frm that! haha.. then his cute actions really tickles me! hit straight to my luffy-spot. esp when he said 'huh!! the midline shifted!?' wAhz.. its 100% luffy!! *refer to miss tan n geoky for more details / demo. lolz. i tot k.y is attached becoz of his ring on his right hand.. hmmz.. n since xander he's a great gUy, being able to entertain us n feed us with infor, i shifted my 'motivation cue' frm k.y to xander.
but likewise xAnder got his own wide 'funclub' sO me go join geoky to observe tallman again. guess i'm over excited abt xander (who rather be called as da bian than da bing - yu bing xian) so can see me peeping over between intervals to look at how's he doing over there, kept saying abt da bing da bing that even tallman n his partner jia ching knows. x_X they tot i like him eh? jia ching kept wanting to gimme xander's no! oh my goSh!!! will they took it for real? tallman asked who's the most handsome guy among the seniors but i suddenly become brainless and blurted 'yanxu' when yanxu is just behind tallman n yanxu's girlfriend is just just next to yanxu! oh my double gosh!! (partly becoz i dun have much impressions of the yr 4s.) geoky started to push my head for giving the wrong ans. sOoooo embarassing!!
now everyone labelled my as 'hua chi' - flower craze-r, i'm just finding ways to make time more passable, sth to look forward to. oh well..

whoo~ finally a weekend! thAts means only one week mORe befOre saying sayonaRa to NUH.

miee 1st dAy at NUH attaChment!

its a loooong journey fRom serangoon to NUH (buona vista)! almost 15-20 mRt stops ehz? touGh luCk for those living in the noRth eAst aReA (ah pOk, peARline n me) =( jUst the tOt of getting uP everyday for the next 2 weeks at 6am mAde me sianz 1/2.. bUt hor, by thinking thAt my brO gotta gO sCh every morning to SP cheeRs me up a lil. at least i'm mOre fOrtunate than him. (hmmz.. 2 weeks compaRed to 3 yrs, wad a bargain huhz? kekez)
miee can take tRain - frm NEL to outram then all the way up. or via bus - 105 / 147 / 100 then change to 95. but the trAvelling time differenCe is kindA wide. hahaz.. gO home moStly tAke bus bahz, can tAke my own sweet time and got ppl to company me. *(to joyCe) winkx winkx
hmmz.. the ppl theRe aRE kinda niCe. (staff, undergraduates..) mosT of them aRent snobbish thAts sth that surprises me coz there's lotsa difference between a dental therapist and a dentist and ouR uniform just resembles fActory worker n toilet cleaners.
the 1st time seeing how patient is being treated is definately a *whAo~..!* with all the complicated root canal treatment n denture making gives a *double whao~*. had a sudden uRGe of becoming a dentist too.. gOing through the sAme couRse as them in the university. (spArks in eyes *-*) haa.. but coming back to reality, thats impossible. oh well...
the students whO gave me the deepest impressions aRe the 2 guys whO spent.. kemmm quite some time doing filing etc for Root cAnal, heez, they'Re really pAtient in answering aNy and every of oUr questions as well as the big jie jie who adjusted the contour of the denture for her patient. she's sooooo friendly!! awww..

all of uS veRy kan jiong there wAiting. 100ways of de-stressing. yAs -> going toilet and have lemon flavoured fisherman's friend sweeeets. rUth -> had a rinse befOre going in. hahaz..
hmmz.. its similar questions they asked. i don't really have an exact ans for them though.. or to say, i'm lazy to memorise a script. baSically these are what i can remembered in miie interview expience:

Q: 'u've did quite well for ur exams.."
A: 'well, i'll still need to buck up for my op tech definately. think most probably i'll be coming back during the hols to practice more'

Q: 'which part do u have problems with? the handwork?'
A: 'yuppz.. sometimes i cut the cavity too deep and the burs slip becoz of improper finger rest..'
Q: '!! u can't have that happening in real patients, do u?!'
A: 'exactly! thats why i really need more practise on my practicals. *blush*'

Q: 'dO u like children?'
A: 'i think i would prefer treating children than adults becoz i think i'm more childlike.. ? coz i'm still watching cartoons like pokemon etc so i shud be able to click with them more. =)'

Q: 'give me 3 reasons why u think that u should get the sponsorship.'
A: 'whoaz, thats a tough question! i think its becoz i'll be lOyal to u? =/ i see this as a permanent job as i'd spent 3 yrs studying for it so i hope to make use of what i've studied into my job.' *after a long pause* uh.. and becoz i'll lessen my family burden?'

A: 'no, only my dad, so it'll be less taxing on them'

A: ' i would bribe them with stickers! i'm nt sure if it'll works but it does had some effects when i was a kid myself! hmm.. in those really bad cases, i think i might have to call up his parents.'

Q: 'i heard there's a new lecturer in ur school.. is he a full or part time?'
A: 'yupp.. thats mR vijayan. he's a part time becoz he's managing his own clinic and only comes in to teach us sometimes. i think he's very professional and friendly, we're very close to him too =)'

in the middle of the conversation, they shook their heads and ask each other is there any questions. i tot its rather short =- bad so i spout 'err.. does that mean i'm a gonecase?' haha! really shudnt had said that! so rude~ they were laughing, 'nono, i dunno abt the others, we'll be discussing much later'
and everytime before they finish their sentence, i'll cut them off.. its so rude!! x_X guess i don have much chance le bahz..

a wednesday

tOday gotta radiography test.. initially tOt we'll have 4 hrs to study before the test starts so most of us didnt study much for the eArly part which had been tested before. (well.. at least that applies to me) suddenly another 2 hours of 'hygiene' popped out so we only had abt 2 hours to study.
aRhh.. finally manage to finsh off hygiene pArt. heh heh, so didnt stay for 2 full extra hours. bUt when we're abt the leave the labby, banu got a called frm dr hema that we must go down attend a talk regarding dental stuff. a lil reluctantly we went. hmmz.. the dentist giving the tAlk is quite professional i must say.. she didnt scrEam when suddenly a bigg cockroach crAwl by using its full speed gear. ha.. and she didnt include all the 'chim chim' words only dental students will know, that is the langauge is rather understandable to public. we cOuldnt find a seat anywhere fAr baCk so we hafta sit in the front row. infront all lecturers (all those wearing blue lAnyards) *quite stress. sweat sweat. .___."
wAhz.. heeshen is really cruel to set those questions. i was shaking my head for dunno how many god know times. didnt expect much for my radiography liaoz.. only know i did far more worst than last time. *saddening
whooHoo! went k-bOx with weiweiz, wenxiu, gEOk n jOYce. the regulArs k-bOx'ers.. jeez.. maybE we can nAme ourselves the 'k5' - k-ge-ers 5 or.. blah blahz. *open to suggestions. wAhaah.. at leAst dAre to sing with them. lalalaz >_- kewlz, thats fun!

told mySElf not to cUt too deep or big but i still cut-ted too big n deep.
i am weakening my cusps, bur marking the adjacent tooth (didnt use band coz the matrix band loosen right from the start), sharp axio-pulpal line angle, too divergent mesial box, no contact point for amalgam (pulling floss up, hmmz.. wad i've been doing for all my practs. so thats wrong..) its so bAd that dR hema n mRs quek aRe considering for re-test. guess all of us are too kan jiong le.. *haiZ..
